2 girls went missing from Sadar Bazaar within a few minutes, last location found in public toilet

Delhi Police: It must have been around 6.30 am on March 10. Mohammad B.Ullah reaches Sadar Bazar police station almost crying. The police personnel pacified him with difficulty and asked the reason for his problem. After which, he told the police that everything was fine till the time he left home for office on the morning of March 9.

When he returned from office at around 9:15 pm, he came to know that his daughter was missing since 4 pm.His wife told him that she had left the house at four in the evening, after which neither she returned home nor anything was heard from her. From acquaintances it was revealed that along with her daughter, one of her friends was also missing. Both were last seen together.

The families of both the girls tried their best to search for them, but nothing was found. Finally, after getting upset, Mohammad B. Ullah reached the police station the next morning.According to DCP Manoj Kumar Meena, considering the seriousness of the matter, the police registered an FIR under section 363 of the IPC and started searching for the two missing girls.

To search for the two girls, a team was formed under the leadership of Inspector Sanjay Singh, which also included SI Lalit Kumar, ASI VP Singh, ASI Rakesh and Constable Ankit. Details and photographs of the clothes worn by the two girls were uploaded to Zipnet.He said that the details of both the missing minor girls were also sent to all the police stations of Delhi.

The police team started scanning the footage of all the CCTV cameras installed in the area. Additionally, photographs of the girls were also circulated on social media like MWA, WhatsApp groups etc. Apart from this, search operation was conducted at all the nearby places like Idgah Park, Ahata-Kidara, Old Delhi Railway Station and Sadar Bazaar.

One-to-one questioning was conducted with shopkeepers, street vendors and passers-by in the area. At around eight in the morning, the police received information about the two girls. As soon as the information was received, the police team left for Bara Tooti Chowk of Sadar Bazaar. The police team that reached the spot found both the girls sitting under a shed.

After this, counseling of both the minor girls was done through the officer of Delhi Women Commission.After counselling, both the girls were taken to BHR Hospital for medical examination. After medical examination, both the girls were also produced before the CWC and their statements were recorded under section 164 of CrPC. The police have not found any foul play in the investigation so far. After this, under ‘Operation Milap’, both the girls have been safely handed over to their parents.
