Srinagar:News of a tragic accident has come to light from Doda in Jammu and Kashmir. A bus full of passengers suddenly fell into a deep gorge in Doda and then there was chaos. On Wednesday, a bus fell into a deep gorge of Chenab river on Jammu-Kishtwar National Highway, 35 people died and many were injured in the accident.
It is being told that there were 50 people in the bus. At present, the injured are being admitted to the hospital. It is feared that the death toll may increase further.Police officials said that 50 passengers were sitting in the 52-seat bus. This bus full of passengers fell into a 300 feet deep gorge of Chenab river in Doda, Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday.
While some passengers died on the spot, the condition of some passengers is said to be critical. The injured have been admitted to the Primary Health Care (PHC) center of Assar, where doctors are treating them. Senior police officers are at the spot and are investigating the cause of the accident. Another official said that the rescue operation is going on.
