New Delhi: A glimmer of hope emerged for the 40 laborers trapped in a tunnel in Uttarakhand for over three days as three special aircraft of the Indian Air Force delivered a 25-tonne lifeline. The incident occurred on Sunday morning along the Char Dham road in Uttarkashi, and despite four days passing, the evacuation of these laborers from the tunnel remained elusive.

In a collaborative effort to enhance the rescue operation, expertise from Thailand and Norway has been enlisted. These international experts, who played a crucial role in the successful rescue of children trapped in a cave in 2018, are now contributing their skills to aid the ongoing efforts in Uttarakhand.

The involvement of these experts, along with the massive support from the Indian Air Force, brings renewed optimism to the challenging mission of extracting the trapped labourers. The nation anxiously awaits updates on the joint efforts of the rescue teams and international experts as they strive to bring the situation to a positive resolution.

The special machine, which has been brought to the site from Delhi, can penetrate 4-5 meters of debris in an hour and if all goes well, in 10-12 hours the rescue pipe will help reach the spot where the workers are trapped. Has happened. The diameter of the pipe is 900 mm, which will be enough for men to drain.
