Chennai: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has suffered a major setback in Tamil Nadu. Actress and BJP leader Gautami Tadimalla has resigned from the party. Gautami, a long-time member of the party, announced her resignation on Monday.
In a letter dated 23 October, Tadimalla expressed his disappointment about the lack of support from the party leadership in the face of personal crisis. Gautami Tadimalla, who joined BJP 25 years ago, revealed in her letter that she is going through a crisis in her life and has not received the expected support from the party and its leaders.
He further alleged that many members of the party have actively supported a person whom they claim has betrayed their trust and cheated them of their life’s earnings.
It is known that Gautami Tadimalla has shared her letter on social media. In her long letter, Gautami Tadimalla said, ‘I am at a point where my daughter and I should be safe and settled.
