Air India Delhi-bound flight delayed, 150 passengers stranded at Chennai airport

New Delhi: Around 150 passengers were stranded at the Chennai airport on Monday due to the delay of a Delhi-bound Air India flight. It has been told that the flight (Air India Flight) was to take off from Chennai at 10.05 am on Monday. However, the passengers kept waiting at the boarding gate of the airport.

Passengers have alleged, they were not given any information about why the flight was delayed. He also said that he was not provided any alternate flight by the airline. Earlier in an incident, an Air India flight from London to Delhi on Sunday was landed in Jaipur due to bad weather. After this the passengers of the flight were stuck here.

According to the information, after landing the London-Delhi flight in Jaipur, Payalaya left the plane citing completion of his duty. It was said on behalf of the pilot that his duty time was over. During this, the aircraft was standing in Jaipur for about two hours.

After this, a statement from Air India said that Air India gives top priority to the safety of its passengers and crew. A replacement crew was immediately arranged to operate the flight strictly following the flight rules.
