Prayagraj. After the murder of Atiq Ahmed and Ashraf in police custody, graves are being dug in the Kasari Masari cemetery of Prayagraj to bury both of them.
This is the ancestral graveyard of Atiq Ahmed. His parents are also buried here. His son Asad was buried in this cemetery on Saturday itself. According to the information being received, Atiq and Ashraf will also be buried in this cemetery by Sunday evening.
The postmortem of the bodies of Atiq Ahmed and Ashraf will be done shortly by a panel of five doctors. After which the dead bodies of both will be buried in Kasari Masri cemetery amidst tight security arrangements.
Meanwhile, there is a curfew-like situation in Atiq’s ancestral home Chakia area. There is a strict police guard all around. No one is being allowed to leave the house. Not only this, internet services have also been stopped.
