Jaipur.Manvendra Singh Jasol, the former Barmer MP, and his son sustained injuries in a tragic road accident on Tuesday evening in the Naugaon police station area of Alwar district, Rajasthan. Sadly, Manvendra Singh’s wife lost her life in the incident. The accident occurred when their SUV, traveling from Delhi to Jaipur, collided with the wall of a bridge near Naugaon.
All occupants of the vehicle were injured and promptly taken to a private hospital in Alwar for medical attention. It’s worth noting that Manvendra Singh is the son of the late former Union Minister Jaswant Singh.Doctor Vikrant Solanki of Solanki Hospital, Alwar said that Chitra Singh, wife of Manvendra Singh, was declared dead.
He told that Manvendra Singh and his son Hamir Singh are undergoing treatment. According to the police, the family members of Manvendra Singh have been informed about the accident.Expressing grief over this accident, former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot wrote on ‘X’, “The news of the demise of Manvendra Singh Jasol’s wife Chitra Singh in a road accident is sad. “I pray to God to give peace to the departed soul and courage to the family to bear this loss.”
He wrote, “I pray to God for the speedy recovery of Manvendra Singh Jasol and other family members injured in the road accident.”Bharatiya Janata Party state president CP Joshi also expressed grief over the accident and wrote, “The news of the injury of former MP and MLA Manvendra Singh ji and his son and the death of his wife Chitra Singh in a road accident on the Delhi-Mumbai highway is extremely saddening.” It is sad and heartbreaking. I pay tribute to the departed soul and pray to God for the speedy recovery of him (Manvendra Singh) and his son.”
