Andhra Pradesh: The news of a painful road accident has come to the fore from East Godavari district. A car rammed into a lorry on the highway in East Godavari district in the early hours of Monday.
In this painful accident, six people of the same family died on the spot. The dead include two women and a child.
East Godavari Superintendent of Police CH Sudheer Kumar Reddy said the accident occurred at Nallacharla village when the car veered off the highway in the wrong direction and rammed into a lorry parked on the roadside.
Police said that the occupants of the car were going from Vijayawada towards Rajamahendravaram. The dead bodies have been sent to the hospital for postmortem. Police said that further investigation is on.
