Arvind Kejriwal will spend 3 nights in CBI office, investigation agency gets his remand

New Delhi. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has suffered a major setback in the alleged liquor scam case. Rouse Avenue Court has sent him on three-day CBI remand. Now he will not go to Tihar Jail, but will go directly from the court to the CBI office. Where he will be questioned for three days.

CBI arrested him this morning and sought a 5-day remand from the court. But after hearing the arguments of both the sides, Rouse Avenue Court granted only 3-day remand. Now he will be produced in court once again on June 29.During the hearing on Arvind Kejriwal’s remand application, there was a lot of commotion in Rouse Avenue Court on Wednesday.

CBI said that Kejriwal has put all the blame on Manish Sisodia in his statement. On this, the Chief Minister interrupted and after taking permission from the court said, I have not given any such statement.If the court wants, it can read my statement. False news is being circulated. Then the judge read Kejriwal’s statement and clarified that there is nothing like that in his statement.

Similarly, during the hearing, CM Kejriwal’s health deteriorated due to heat and crowd.Kejriwal told the court that he feels that his sugar level is going down. Can he eat and drink something. The court immediately directed to take him to another room and arrange for some food and drink. After some time, the CM joined the court hearing again.

Earlier, the CBI had questioned Kejriwal in Tihar Jail for about one and a half hours in the alleged liquor scam case. His statement was recorded, and by morning, Kejriwal was taken to Rouse Avenue Court for appearance.

Kejriwal’s lawyer Vikram Chaudhary argued before Judge Amitabh Rawat that when the lower court granted bail on June 20, 2024, then why does the CBI need the Chief Minister of Delhi now. If they had evidence against Kejriwal then why did they not arrest him earlier?
