Bangluru Blast: White cap, mask and bag in hand…many important clues found in Bengaluru cafe blast

Bengaluru: Fresh CCTV footage that surfaced on Saturday shows the suspect in Bengaluru’s Rameshwaram cafe blast walking towards the restaurant with a bag allegedly containing an improvised explosive device. Police have formed 7-8 teams to trace the accused, who is absconding after Friday’s blast in which 10 people were injured

Media The low-intensity bomb blast at a popular cafe in Bengaluru on Friday was carried out by triggering an IED bomb using a timer, police sources said as the investigation under the anti-terrorism law proceeded. Meanwhile, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah visited the blast site in Whitefield and also met the injured in the hospital.

He announced that the government would bear all his expenses.Fresh CCTV footage has surfaced, in which the suspect can be seen wearing a white cap and mask, carrying a bag on his shoulder and going towards the cafe. Yesterday, the police had identified the suspect from the CCTV footage. Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar described him as a youth of around 28 to 30 years.

He kept the bag near a tree (next to the café) and went away. An hour later there was an explosion.
The FIR lodged said that preliminary investigation has revealed that the criminals planned and executed the bomb blast to cause chaos and casualties.According to the FIR, ‘Hariharan, additional manager of the complainant’s hotel, said that around 11-30 am, he saw a person who was taken to the ED
