Barabanki. A tragic accident took place in Barabanki district of Uttar Pradesh late night on 3rd September. Here a three-storey building suddenly collapsed. Due to this, about 15 people got buried under the debris of the house.
At the same time, as soon as the police-administration received information about this accident, all the top officials immediately reached the spot and started the rescue. NDRF and SDRF teams also reached the spot.
People trapped under the debris were rescued and sent to the local CHC and district hospital. Of these, one woman Roshni Bano and one man Hakimuddin died. Whereas, eight seriously injured have been referred from the district hospital to Lucknow Trauma Center.
Efforts are on to rescue the remaining buried people from the debris. The reason for the collapse of the building is not yet clear. According to the information, when this house collapsed, all the people of the town were sleeping.
People told that they woke up due to loud noise and trembling. When they saw, the entire three-storey house next door had collapsed. Seeing this scene, there was a stir among the people around.
The people present on the spot informed the Dial 112 police. As soon as information about the building collapse was received, police, fire brigade and senior district officials reached the spot. After that NDRF and SDRF teams were also called to the spot for rescue.
Local residents told that this building was built only a few years ago. This building was not dilapidated. The reason why this entire three-storey house collapsed is not yet clear.
