According to Narcotics Officer SP Sharma, on the basis of inputs, four of our teams had conducted operations in Barmer and Sanchore. So far two accused have been arrested from Barmer and Sanchore. Banned drugs have been seized in huge quantities. These drugs used to come from outside. The officer said that in the coming days the action will continue in this manner and efforts are on to reach the bottom of it.
The joint teams of Delhi and Neemuch of Narcotics Bureau have recovered huge quantity of drugs while conducting raids in Sanchore. The team raided Sanchore on Sunday night and recovered the consignment from 2 medical and 2 godowns and arrested 2 accused.
The team has arrested Sanchore city residents Jayesh and Prakash Maheshwari, who are real brothers. According to Narcotics Bureau officer SP Sharma, Gajanand Medical was located at Chaudhary Dharamshala in the city and the other was located on Medical Bypass Road. Both the medical associates belong to the brothers and this godown was owned by these accused.
