CEO Soochna Seth is denying any involvement in the child’s murder.

New Delhi: New information is continuously coming to light regarding CEO Suchana Seth, the main accused in the country’s much talked about murder case.Soochna Seth was engaged in a legal battle in court, seeking a divorce from her husband and custody of their child.

Additionally, she had filed a case of domestic violence against her husband, Venkataraman PR. In her complaint, Soochna alleged that her husband had physically assaulted both her and the child, who was receiving treatment at NIMHANS’s Adolescent Psychiatry Center in Bengaluru.

Following a hearing, the family court of the Metropolitan Magistrate in Bengaluru issued a restraining order against Venkataraman on August 18, 2022. This order prohibited him from communicating with the child via phone or any other media.

The court stipulated that the father of the child must provide interim maintenance of Rs 20,000 per month to the petitioner from the date of the order until the petition is disposed of. Venkataraman had already paid Rs 60,000 as alimony to his estranged wife between September and November. Despite this, Suchana Seth continued to demand a monthly maintenance of Rs 2.5 lakh.

The court had fixed the next hearing of the case on January 29. Suchana Seth had said in her petition that she was forced to live separately due to fear of violence and abuse from her husband. She claimed that her husband did not take care of her during her pregnancy and “did not show any interest in married life, their marriage was not balanced mentally and emotionally. The information told the court that Venkatraman’s constant calls from his parents affected his family life.

The court, after examining the documents submitted by Seth to prove her domestic violence case, had said that prima facie it appeared to be a case of sexual abuse by husband Venkataraman. She had also alleged that marital relations were not comfortable from the beginning of their marriage, and “when the child was in the custody of the husband, he injured the child”, according to the petition, which also said that the abusive behavior Due to this, a feeling of fear towards the father started developing in the child.

Venkataraman had denied all the allegations made against him by Seth. After hearing both sides of the case, the court directed the husband to hand over all the toys and clothes of the child to the mother. Seth married Venkataraman as per Hindu customs on November 18, 2010 in Kolkata. Their son was born on August 14, 2019. Their petition states that since March 2020, they were forced to live separately due to violence and abuse.

Seth is currently in police custody in Goa for six days. Even during interrogation she is not cooperating and refuses to answer any questions unless her lawyer is present there. However, he has denied any involvement in the murder case. “Even when she was detained by the Chitradurga police, where the child’s body was found in a bag in the boot of the car in which she was travelling, she still contacted the Karnataka police,” the police officer said. She refused to talk, but after discovering the body she started crying.”
