Patna: Rahul Gandhi’s convoy has been attacked during the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra on the border of West Bengal-Bihar. Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary has accused TMC of organizing the attack. It is being told that this attack took place in Harishchandrapur of Malda.
During this, the glass of Rahul Gandhi’s car was broken. While reacting to the allegations of Adir Ranjan Chaudhary, TMC said that this incident happened due to pushing and shoving due to large crowd. At the same time, politics has intensified regarding this attack.
In this incident the rear window glass of the vehicle was broken. But Rahul Gandhi was not injured. Television scenes showed Rahul Gandhi getting down from the vehicle after reaching the scheduled stop and inspecting the damaged window glass.
The attack took place in Harishchandrapur area of Malda when the Yatra was re-entering West Bengal from Bihar. Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary said, “The rear window glass of the vehicle in which Rahul Gandhi was traveling was broken after stone pelting. this is unacceptable.”
On the damage caused to the car of Congress MP Rahul Gandhi during the Bharat Jodo Nyaya Yatra in Katihar, Congress MP Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary says, “It is possible that someone may have pelted stones from behind in the crowd. The police force is ignoring it. A lot can happen. This is a small incident but something could have happened.”
