Bhopal. Due to continuous rains in many divisions including Bhopal, rivers and streams have come in spate. The Meteorological Department has issued Orange and Yellow alerts in 28 districts of the state. At the same time, a drop in temperature has also been seen due to the rain.
With the onset of coolness in the weather, the temperature in many districts has gone down to about 7 degrees below normal. Badra is raining heavily after the monsoon became active in the whole of Madhya Pradesh.
On the previous day, the period of drizzling rain continued throughout the day in the capital Bhopal. Due to the showers, a drop in temperature was observed, due to which the day temperature came down to 27.2 degrees, 7 degrees below normal.
At the same time, due to torrential rains in Jabalpur, the drain located on Adhartal Suhagi Marg overflowed. After reaching the spot, the police stopped the movement of vehicles on both sides of the drain and the staff of Adhartal police station took charge in terms of security.
