Sidhi Bus Accident: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan expressed grief over the direct accident, announced assistance of Rs 10 lakh each to the families of the deceased

Sidhi Bus Accident: Many leaders including Home Minister Amit Shah and Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan have expressed grief over the painful accident that happened on Friday in Sidhi district of Madhya Pradesh. 13 people died in this accident, while more than 50 people were injured.

As soon as the information about the accident was received, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan reached the spot at night itself and inquired about the condition of the injured. He announced financial assistance of Rs 10 lakh each to the next of kin of the deceased, Rs 2 lakh each to the seriously injured and Rs 1 lakh each to the injured.

After the accident, CM Shivraj Singh tweeted, reaching Rewa Medical College and Sanjay Gandhi Hospital, consoled the bereaved family members and obtained information from the doctors regarding the treatment of the injured. Best medical facilities are being provided to the injured. I pray that our injured brothers and sisters get well soon.

The incident is heartbreaking. Our first priority is to make better arrangements for the treatment of the injured. If necessary, the injured will be taken by air ambulance for treatment elsewhere. A relief amount of Rs 10 lakh will be given to the next of kin of the companions who did not survive in this unfortunate accident.

Regarding the accident, former Chief Minister Digvijay Singh tweeted, Sad news of the death of 5 people due to the collision of buses returning directly from the Shivraj government’s event hosted by Home Minister Amit Shah in Satna, MP. More than 50 people have been injured. Since the program was government, the Chief Minister should take responsibility for the accident and sack the guilty officials. Immediately announce a compensation amount of Rs 50 lakh to the families of each of those who died in the bus accident and Rs 5 lakh to the injured.
