Jaipur. Big news related to Rajasthan politics has come out. Kirori Lal Meena, cabinet minister of BJP’s Bhajan Lal government of Rajasthan, has resigned from his post. Meena had announced even before the results of the Lok Sabha elections that if he loses any seat from his area and area of influence, he will resign from the post of minister.
BJP had lost this seat in the Lok Sabha elections.After that, speculations of Kirori Lal Meena’s resignation had started. Kirori Lal Meena himself had hinted about this on his social media handle X. After that, he distanced himself from government facilities. After BJP’s defeat from Dausa seat, the opposition also attacked him.
Since then, speculations of his resignation were being made continuously. Meena said that taking moral responsibility for the defeat, I have resigned. However, his resignation has not been accepted yet.After the Lok Sabha elections, Kirori Lal Meena had clearly said that PM Narendra Modi had asked him to campaign in seven-eight seats of his influence.
Meena had said that he has already worked a lot on these seats including Dausa and Tonk-Sawai Madhopur. Despite that, if he is unable to make the party win, he will resign on moral grounds. Meena had announced that if the party loses even one of the seven seats including Dausa on which he had campaigned for the Lok Sabha elections, he will leave the post of minister.
