Big update in Israeli Embassy blast case, Delhi Police files FIR

New Delhi:A significant development has occurred in the investigation of the blast case near the Israeli Embassy in Delhi. The Delhi Police has officially filed a First Information Report (FIR) regarding the low-intensity explosion incident near the Israeli Embassy.

The FIR has been lodged at the Tughlaq Road police station in the New Delhi district. According to reliable sources, the Delhi Police has initiated the case against an unidentified individual.It is important to mention here that till now Delhi Police or investigating agencies had not registered any FIR in the Israeli Embassy suspected blast case, but now the first FIR has been registered on Friday.

NIA along with different units of Delhi Police are also investigating this suspicious blast case.Earlier, a few days after the low-intensity explosion near the Israeli Embassy, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) on Friday said that the concerned agencies are investigating it.

Foreign Ministry spokesperson Arindam Bagchi said, ‘The relevant agencies are looking into the matter…let them complete the investigation.’ Asked about Israel’s suspicion of Iran’s involvement in the blast, he said, ‘I certainly don’t think so. There is no information available about blaming specific institutions or countries.
