Life imprisonment to all the culprits of BSP MLA Raju Pal murder case

Prayagraj: The CBI court on Friday convicted all the seven accused alive in the murder case of Bahujan Samaj Party MLA Raju Pal. There were a total of 9 accused in this case, but two of them, Atiq Ahmed and Ashraf Ahmed, have been murdered. On January 25, 2005, the then BSP MLA Raju Pal was murdered.

The allegation was leveled against 9 people including Atiq Ahmed and his brother. The court has convicted all the 7 surviving accused, Abid, Farhan, Javed, Abdul Qavi, Gul Hasan, Israr and Ranjit Pal. The CBI Special Court has sentenced Farhan to 4 years of imprisonment and a fine of Rs 20,000 for possessing illegal weapons. Has been sentenced.

Israr Ahmed, Ranjit Pal, Javed, Gulshan and Abdul Kavi were found guilty of murder and sentenced to life imprisonment. A fine of Rs 50,000 each was also imposed on the six accused of murder. Recently, Umesh Pal, an eyewitness of the then BSP MLA Raju Pal murder case, was killed by miscreants by spraying bombs and bullets.

Gunner Sandeep Nishad, deployed for the security of Umesh Pal, was also killed in this incident. Actually, the war between Raju Pal and Atiq started 19 years ago in 2004. Raju Pal had challenged the power of Atiq Ahmed in the western area of the city.

By-election was held on the seat vacated by Atiq Ahmed becoming MP. In this by-election, Raju Pal became MLA by defeating Atiq Ahmed’s brother. On January 25, 2005, Raju Pal was surrounded and shot with bullets in Dhumanganj area. Sandeep Yadav and Devi Lal also died in this attack.
