Buxar. A big news has come out from Bihar. The North East Superfast train running from Delhi’s Anand Vihar Terminal in Buxar, Bihar to Kamakhya via Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and West Bengal met with an accident on Wednesday night.
21 bogies of the train derailed. Four passengers died in this accident, while 70 to 80 other people are said to be injured. The condition of many of them is critical. As soon as the information about the train accident was received, the families of the passengers traveling by train became impatient to get information about their loved ones.
In view of this, Indian Railways has issued helpline numbers. By calling these numbers, information about your loved ones as well as other types of information can be obtained. On the other hand, orders have been given to investigate the derailment of North East Express.
Railway Board has ordered a high level inquiry. Investigation will be done keeping all the points in mind. Regarding the train accident, Chief Public Relations Officer of East Central Railway, Virendra Kumar said that on Wednesday night at 9.35 pm near Raghunathpur Railway Station of Danapur Railway Division, the train was going from Anand Vihar Terminal in New Delhi to Kamakhya.
Train number 12506 North East Express became the victim of an accident.Many bogies derailed after the accident. It is being told that a total of 21 bogies have derailed. After receiving information about the incident, all the district level officials and doctors of Buxar district reached the spot.
Buxar DM Anshul Aggarwal reached the spot immediately after the incident and conducted the rescue operation and worked to provide relief to the people. After this horrific railway accident, the up and down lines are completely closed.
Katihar Railway Division has also issued a helpline number regarding the accident of North East Express. The helpline number is connected to 10 stations from Katihar to Tinsukia.
Also, alternative arrangements have been made to take the passengers of the accident train to their destination. A rake has also reached the spot, through which arrangements are being made to take the passengers of North East Express to their destination.
