Car going to Kedarnath fell into a ditch, one killed, 7 injured in the accident

Uttarakhand: The news of a painful accident has come to the fore. An elderly person has died in the accident. While seven people including the driver were injured. All the injured were going to visit Kedarnath Dham.

According to the police, on Friday, seven members of two families of Uttarkashi Hareti Brahmakhal left for Kedarnath Dham in an omni van. The vehicle suddenly lost control and fell into a deep gorge near Dangchaura Pali on the Maletha-Tehri highway.

After hearing the screams of the people, the local people immediately informed the police about the incident. The team of Kotwali Kirtinagar Police and SDRF Srinagar reached the spot and launched a rescue operation.

In the accident, an elderly person in the van died on the spot. While seven people including the driver were injured. The injured were admitted to Base Hospital Srinagar with the help of 108.

Doctors have declared everyone out of danger. Kotwal Kirtinagar Kamal Mohan Bhandari told that Hareti Brahmakhal, resident of Bijendra Singh Rana’s son Teg Singh, died in the accident.

Manika Devi wife Bijendra Singh, her grandson Adarsh and Kalpana resident Hareti Brahmakhal and Jawai Mangal Singh resident Khatukhal are injured. Driver Dheeraj Kumar resident of Uttarkashi is also injured.
