Nuh Violence: Ban on sabotage ordered by the High Court in Nuh

Chandigarh. After the violence in Haryana’s Nuh, bulldozers are being run on illegal construction by the government, which has been banned after the order of the State High Court.

Buildings and shops of the accused involved in continuous violence in Nuh were being demolished by the government. Now following the orders of the High Court, the district demolition campaign has been stopped.

The DC has ordered the concerned officials to stop action on illegal construction. Justice Sandhya Walia of Punjab and Haryana High Court has given this order to the Nuh district administration.

According to the information, the Punjab and Haryana High Court took su-moto in the matter and banned the demolition of the construction structure. The High Court has also sought an affidavit from the government and has asked that how many structures have been demolished so far, all the information should be given to the court.

AG Baldev Mahajan was present on behalf of the Haryana government during the hearing. It is noteworthy that after the communal clashes in Nuh, the authorities had carried out a bulldozer campaign for the fourth consecutive day. During this, a three-storey hotel was also demolished.

The procession was pelted with stones from the roof of this hotel. Nuh’s DC Dhirendra Khadgata had told that a total of 162 illegally constructed permanent and 591 temporary structures have been demolished so far.

57.5 acres of land has been freed from illegal occupation at 37 places. Please tell that the internet has been closed in Nuh till August 8. However, permission has been given to open banks and ATMs for Monday.
