BSP candidate Nagamani arrested from Chatra Lok Sabha seat

Chatra. A big news has come out amid the Lok Sabha elections. BSP (Bahujan Samaj Party) who came to Chatra to file nomination, was arrested by the police. During this, he had a heated argument with the Sadar police station team that had come to arrest former Union Minister Nagmani.

The former minister was talking to the media, during which he was arrested.When Chatra’s Sadar police station in-charge Vipin Kumar stopped former Union Minister Nagmani during his address, Nagmani got into a fight with the police station in-charge. He started teaching law lessons to the police. After this, on the basis of the warrant issued from the court, the station in-charge arrested him.

Nagamani has been arrested in a case of election model code of conduct violation registered during the 2014 Lok Sabha elections.Nagamani had come to file nomination on Bahujan Samaj Party ticket for the Chatra Lok Sabha elections to be held on May 20. After this, the station in-charge appealed to him for cooperation and arrested him. Chatra Police has increased the political excitement by arresting former Union Minister and powerful leader of Bihar Nagmani.

He has been the Minister of Social Welfare and Cooperation in the government of Atal Bihari Vajpayee. After his arrest, the police sent him to jail in judicial custody after medical examination at Sadar Hospital.Former Union Minister Nagmani has been arrested in connection with an old case registered in Itkhori police station for violation of the model code of conduct during the 2014 Lok Sabha elections.

The police was looking for him in case number 20/2014. In this regard, a permanent warrant was issued against him from the court. After the arrest, Nagmani raised questions on the police action. He has said that he has been arrested as part of a big political conspiracy with the intention of keeping him away from the elections
