China calls Kashmir ‘disputed territory’, refuses to participate in G20 meeting

Beijing. China has refused to attend the G20 Tourism Working Group meeting to be held in Jammu and Kashmir next week. China, which has been opposing India and supporting Pakistan at every international forum, even dared to say that it ‘Strongly’ opposes the holding of any such meeting in a ‘disputed’ area.

The third G20 Tourism Working Group meeting under the chairmanship of India is scheduled to be held in Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir, from May 22 to 24. In a routine press conference, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Wang Wenbin was asked whether China would consider the Indian state of Jammu And going to boycott the G20 meetings held in Kashmir?

So he said that ‘China firmly opposes holding any kind of G20 meeting on the disputed territory. We will not attend such meetings. Incidentally, China is a close ally of Pakistan.

The tourism industry has played a major role in the development of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir. However instability has affected the tourism industry. Due to which the number of tourists has decreased.

People in the tourism industry in Kashmir believe that the G20 meeting can attract investors and tourists from all over the world to Kashmir. The G20 summit in Jammu and Kashmir could start a wave of change.
