Churu.Four people, including three children, died tragically and eight were injured in a horrific road accident that took place in Sardarshahar area of Churu district on Friday night. The victims of the accident were going to attend a wedding ceremony.
There was chaos in the wedding house after the accident. Police reached the spot and kept the dead bodies in the mortuary of Sridungargarh hospital. The injured are undergoing treatment in Bikaner District Hospital. The police is busy investigating the entire matter.
According to the police, the accident happened near village Asasar on the border of Sardarshahr and Sridungargarh. There, 12 people were traveling in a car from Sridungargarh to Bandhanau village of Sardarshahar area to attend a wedding ceremony.
There were four elderly people including eight children in the car. Late Friday, an unknown vehicle hit his car violently. In the accident, car driver Gopiram along with three children died on the spot.On information, Sardarshahr and Sridungargarh police reached the spot.
He took the dead and injured to the government hospital in Sridungargarh. From there the injured were referred to Bikaner after first aid. The condition of three of the injured is said to be serious. The age of all the children who were victims of the accident is said to be less than 10 years. After the accident, the driver of the unknown vehicle that collided ran away.
