Conditions worsen due to rain in Delhi-NCR, vehicles crawling on roads

New Delhi. The rain continues in Delhi-NCR. This rain has become a problem for Delhiites instead of giving them relief from the scorching heat and humidity. It has been raining in many areas since morning, which has been continuing for the last 2-3 hours.

The weather has become pleasant due to heavy rain, but waterlogging has occurred on the roads of many areas, due to which vehicles were seen crawling on the roads early in the morning. Due to rain and waterlogging, there has been a traffic jam at many places. Therefore, if office goers do not want to get stuck in the jam, then they should leave home a little earlier, otherwise they will keep crawling in the traffic.

Many videos of rain in Delhi have been shared on the social media site ‘X’, in which rain is still visible in many areas, while heavy waterlogging is also visible on the roads. In the post shared by ANI, it is seen that there is a heavy traffic jam on Moti Bagh Ring Road in Delhi. At the same time, due to the rain since morning, waterlogging was also reported in Bhikaji Cama Place, Naoroji Nagar and Shanti Path.

Delhi Police has issued a traffic alert for many areas on ‘X’, plan your journey after looking at it-

– Traffic will be affected on Ring Road, Vande Mataram Marg and NH-48 due to waterlogging in GGR/PDR under Dhaula Kuan flyover and near Metro pillar number 156.

– There may be a traffic jam on the ring road from AIIMS towards Dhaula Kuan due to waterlogging in front of CNG pump Sector-12 RK Puram and Satya Niketan bus stop.

– There is waterlogging at Munirka bus stop. Due to this, there may be a traffic jam on the outer ring road in the carriageway from IIT to Munirka.

– Traffic has been closed due to waterlogging near Zakhira underpass.

– There is a heavy traffic jam on Rohtak Road from Nangloi to Tikri border due to sewer overflow in Mundka and potholes on the roads.
