Dantewada.On December 24, a confrontation unfolded between security forces and Naxalites in Dantewada, Chhattisgarh. During the engagement, the soldiers successfully neutralized three Naxalites, one of whom carried a reward of Rs 5 lakh and was identified as Laxman Kohrami.
The encounter transpired as security forces surrounded the Naxalites in the Kunna area, acting on information provided by an informant. Following the elimination of these three Naxalites, security forces continue to conduct searches in the region.
It is noteworthy that 8 days ago, Naxalites had also carried out a major attack in Sukma district of Chhattisgarh. Naxalites had carried out the incident in Bedre area of Jagargunda. A CRPF soldier was martyred in this attack. According to the information, when the Naxalites attacked, the soldiers were out for area domination.
