Andhra Pradesh:On Friday, Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone and her brother, professional golfer Anisha Padukone, embarked on a spiritual journey to the renowned Tirumala Tirupati temple in Andhra Pradesh. The sibling duo partook in the worship of Lord Venkateswara at the sacred temple.
Deepika, along with her brother, had undertaken a significant pilgrimage, arriving at Tirumala on foot the previous night during a VIP break. The actress engaged in the religious rituals at Tirumala on Friday morning, seeking the divine blessings of Lord Srivara.
Post their visit, Vedic scholars conducted traditional ceremonies and bestowed Vedic blessings upon Deepika and Anisha at the Ranganayakula Mandapam within the temple premises. In a continuation of the sacred rituals, the temple authorities also distributed theerthaprasadam, a consecrated offering, to all the attendees.
The presence of the celebrity siblings added a touch of significance to the spiritual ambiance of the Tirumala Tirupati temple, a revered pilgrimage site attracting devotees and dignitaries alike.
