New Delhi:Pollution is on the rise in numerous major cities across the country. In addition to the national capital, Delhi, and its neighboring cities in Uttar Pradesh and Haryana, poor air quality has persisted for several consecutive days in regions of Punjab and Maharashtra.
On November 2nd, the air quality shows no signs of improvement. Noida’s average Air Quality Index (AQI) remains at 397, falling within the ‘very poor’ category. Similarly, Delhi records an average AQI of 343, also categorized as ‘very poor.’ However, there is a slight improvement in air quality observed in Bathinda city, Punjab.

Earlier, Delhi Environment Minister Gopal Rai had expressed concern about the next 15-20 days from November 1, emphasizing on the serious condition of air quality in the capital.
