New Delhi. The Kejriwal government has started taking swift action after getting the authority of the Services Department. The Delhi government has now made preparations to replace the current Chief Secretary Naresh Kumar.
Permission has also been sought from the Central Government on this. Sources tell that after the removal of the Secretary of the Services Department, now the Delhi Government’s functioning has to be run more smoothly behind the transfer of the Chief Secretary of Delhi.
The government wants that Additional Chief Secretary (GAD) PK Gupta should be appointed as the new Chief Secretary of Delhi in place of the current Chief Secretary Naresh Kumar.
It is said that in this regard, on behalf of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, consent was sought from Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena on the proposal. The government has also sought consent from the central government through the LG.
Let us inform that the present Chief Secretary of Delhi is a senior IAS officer of 1987 batch. He was made the new Chief Secretary in place of retired IAS Vijay Kumar Dev, Commissioner of the current Delhi State Election Commission.
