New Delhi: The court has reserved its verdict on the bail plea of former Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia, who is caught in the excise policy scam case. A Delhi court on Friday said it will pronounce its verdict on March 31 on the bail plea of former Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia in the excise policy case lodged by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).

The CBI has so far interrogated Sisodia in its custody for seven days. The agency had arrested Sisodia on February 26 in connection with alleged corruption in the formulation and implementation of the now-cancelled Delhi Excise Policy 2021-22. The Enforcement Directorate arrested Sisodia in Tihar Jail on the evening of 9 March. Sisodia was under house arrest in connection with the case being probed by the CBI.
