New Delhi. ED has achieved great success in the Delhi liquor scam case. The Rouse Avenue Court on Thursday accepted the plea of Sharath Reddy, Managing Director of Aurobindo Pharma, to become an approver.
The court has pardoned Reddy. Sharath Reddy has told the court that he is in danger of life. Sharath Redda’s statement has been kept in a sealed cover. On November 10 last year, Sharath Reddy was arrested by the ED in the liquor scam case.
At the same time, Sharath Reddy has become a government witness. Now he will not be punished in this case. Let us inform that earlier Dinesh Arora, who was close to Manish Sisodia, had also become a government witness.
He had filed a petition in the court saying that he is ready to become a government witness. In his petition, Arora had said that he is fully cooperating in the investigation of the case by the CBI and has given correct statements to the investigating officer.
