New Delhi. Delhi Police has registered 100 FIRs in connection with putting up objectionable posters against Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while 6 people have been arrested in this case. A few days back, a poster war was started by the leaders and workers of some political parties in the capital Delhi against Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Special CP Dipendra Pathak gave this information. An FIR has been registered against all the accused under sections of the Printing Press Act and the Property Act. The police officer said that the posters that were put up did not have the details of the printing press. With this, the police has revealed that there was a plan to put up 50,000 such posters in Delhi.
The Special CP said that a van was also stopped while coming out of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) office, due to which some posters were seized and arrests were made. In this case, 2 FIRs have been registered in the Central District and 3 people have been arrested. Those who have been arrested include Pappu, the driver of the vehicle carrying the poster and Vishnu Sharma, the owner of the vehicle. Along with this, the owner of the printing press from Narayana has also been arrested.
In fact, a poster war was started by the leaders and workers of some political parties in the capital Delhi a few days back against Prime Minister Modi. On receiving inputs about the posting of posters in this regard at various places in Delhi, the Delhi Police swung into action and removed about 2,000 posters from the roadside walls.
At the same time, after taking possession of a van going towards DDU road after leaving the Aam Aadmi Party office, the police seized more than two thousand posters from inside it.
