The fire started around 2 o’clock in the night. The fire was immediately informed to the Delhi Fire Department, after which 5 fire tenders reached the spot and after a lot of effort, the fire was brought under control. Goods worth lakhs have been damaged in this fire. However, no casualty has been reported in the fire.

It is a matter of pride that the fire started at night when the market remains closed. Otherwise a big accident could have happened. Meanwhile, Sarojini Nagar market is considered to be a very busy market.

Apart from the general shops here, there are also a lot of tehbazaari shops. This market is known for cheap and good stuff. The cause of the fire could not be ascertained, but the police is telling the reason for the fire to be a short circuit.

Let us tell that in the month of March, there was a fire in a plastic factory located in Karawal Nagar area of Delhi. As soon as the information about the fire was received, several fire tenders were dispatched to the spot. 8 fire engines are present on the spot. Due to the rapid spread of the fire, hard work was done to control it.
