Showers again in Delhi-NCR today, it will rain in Noida-Ghaziabad

New Delhi: It rained heavily in the national capital Delhi and its surrounding areas on Friday morning. It rained heavily in Noida, Greater Noida, Ghaziabad, Faridabad, Gurugram.

Due to this, a considerable drop in the temperature of Delhi NCR was recorded. According to the Meteorological Department, clouds will camp in the sky of Delhi NCR for the next 5 days, during which there is a possibility of moderate to heavy rainfall.

Parts of the national capital also received heavy rain on Thursday, bringing down the minimum temperature to 23.8 degrees Celsius, which is 4 degrees Celsius below the season’s average.

The IMD bulletin states that the maximum temperature in Delhi NCR reached 34.2 degree Celsius, which is 3 degree Celsius less than normal. The humidity level in the air remains 100 to 71 percent.

According to IMD, it will be cloudy even today. The maximum and minimum temperature can be 36 and 25 degree Celsius respectively. After heavy rains in Delhi and its surrounding areas, the Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert in the city.

Orange Alert, a warning to be prepared, indicates the possibility of traffic disruption and water-logging, which was reported in several parts of the city.
