Delhi Rain: Delhi submerged in the first rain, vehicles crawling on the roads, long traffic jam

Delhi Traffic Alert: Monsoon has shown its colours in Delhi-NCR. It has been raining heavily in Delhi, Noida, Ghaziabad and the entire NCR since early Friday morning. Due to the rain, the weather has become cool and cold. There is relief from the heat and the weather of Delhi-NCR has become quite pleasant.

When the people of Delhi woke up on Friday morning, there was a flood on the roads. Yes, due to heavy rain in Delhi-NCR, the water has reached up to the knees on the roads. Vehicles are getting submerged. Traffic problems are now being seen at some places. Traffic jams are being seen at many places since morning.

Delhi Traffic Police has issued an advisory for Delhiites. Delhi Traffic Police said, ‘Due to waterlogging near Y-point Salimgarh and Nigambodh Ghat, traffic on Outer Ring Road is affected on both carriageways from Shantivan towards ISBT and vice versa. Please plan your journey by looking at the traffic alert.’
