Shadow dust balloon in Delhi NCR, pollution level increased

New Delhi. People troubled by the scorching heat in Delhi and NCR have definitely got some relief on Tuesday morning. But there is a cloud of dust in the sky. However, after the drizzle in the NCR region in the morning, coolness is definitely being felt in the air.

The possibility of light rain was predicted by the IMD on Tuesday. The capital has definitely got some relief from the wind. But there is no respite from the heat. At the same time, the air quality level has also deteriorated due to the dust storm.

According to CPCB data, Delhi’s Air Quality Index (AQI) has been measured at 192 at 9 am, which is in the moderate category. Although yesterday this index was measured at 162.

Neighboring areas such as Ghaziabad (160), Greater Noida (171), and Noida (186) also recorded moderate AQI levels. However, Faridabad (100) reported satisfactory air quality, while Gurugram (273) remained in the poor category.

According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of being partly cloudy on Wednesday as well. At the same time, a forecast of strong surface winds of 30-40 KMPH has also been expressed during the day.
