Double attack of heat wave in Delhi, IMD issues big alert

Weather Rain Update: Many states of the country are experiencing severe heat at this time. People are looking at the sky and wondering when the monsoon will come. The biggest question in people’s minds at the moment is when will it rain here. However, the monsoon has arrived in India and pre-monsoon activities have also started in many parts of the country.

But there are some states including Bihar, Uttar Pradesh and the capital Delhi, where the heat and heat wave are not taking the name of stopping.The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted heavy to very heavy rainfall with extremely heavy rainfall at isolated places over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Assam and Meghalaya in the next 4-5 days.

Heavy rain is likely over some areas in Odisha on June 8 and 19. Apart from this, “light to moderate rain” may also occur in the Gangetic plains of West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand and Odisha in the next four days.Delhi, which is facing severe heat, is now getting as hot as day at night. Here, the weather is as hot as the day even at night. The strong sunlight that comes out since morning is becoming so strong after ten o’clock that it is becoming difficult for people to leave the house.

According to the Meteorological Department, heat wave conditions will persist in most areas of Delhi on Monday. The maximum temperature can be up to 45 and the minimum 33 degrees Celsius. During this time, the wind speed can also be 35 to 45 km per hour. A yellow alert for heat wave has been issued for Monday. At the same time, a yellow alert for heat wave is also issued for Tuesday and Wednesday.

During the next 24 hours, light to moderate rain is possible in Vidarbha, Marathwada, Telangana, Sikkim, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Assam and Arunachal Pradesh and heavy rain at some places. Light to moderate rain is possible in southwest Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, parts of south and east Gujarat, Chhattisgarh, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Lakshadweep, Konkan and Goa and Madhya Maharashtra.

Light rain may occur in Tamil Nadu, Andaman and Nicobar Islands and south-eastern Rajasthan.On the other hand, heat wave to severe heat wave conditions are possible in Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Jharkhand and Uttarakhand. Heat wave conditions are likely in some areas of Himachal Pradesh, Jammu division, eastern Madhya Pradesh and northern Chhattisgarh. Nights are likely to remain hot in some parts of Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi and Uttar Pradesh.
