Yes, amidst the scorching heat, there is now a shortage of water in Delhi. If you live in the country’s capital, then you have to use water very thoughtfully, otherwise you can get a big shock.

Delhi’s Water Minister Atishi has warned of challan on wastage or excessive use of water. She said that a challan can be issued for washing the car from the tap or allowing the water tanks to overflow. Delhiites are getting this warning at a time when their mercury is high due to about 50 degrees temperature. The city is burning with severe heat.

Fire is raining from the sky everywhere. In some places, the maximum temperature has reached 49.9 degrees Celsius. The entire Delhi-NCR is in the grip of severe heat and heat wave. Due to heat wave, cases of heat stroke are also increasing now.

Atishi also accused Haryana of not releasing Delhi’s share of water. She said that Haryana is not giving Delhi’s share of water since May 1. Due to this, the Delhi government will implement several measures including rationalizing the water supply in the national capital. If this issue is not resolved soon, Delhi will knock the doors of the Supreme Court.

Atishi said in a press conference on Tuesday evening that if the supply of Yamuna water in Delhi does not improve in the coming days, the Delhi government can approach the Supreme Court. According to Atishi, many areas of Delhi are facing water shortage.

This is the reason why the government has appealed to use water properly and properly in Delhi. The government has warned that if the people of Delhi do not pay heed to this appeal and do not use water properly, then there may be a challan for excessive use or wastage of water. Atishi has also appealed to people not to wash vehicles with water from pipes.

According to her, if people do not pay heed to this public appeal, the government may have to issue challans for excessive use of water. Misuse of water is extremely irresponsible. It is also being said that in places in Delhi where water used to come twice a day, now it will come only once.
