New Delhi. Taking another major action in Delhi-NCR, ED has raided several locations of Aam Aadmi Party MLA Amanatullah Khan. At present, search operation is going on at many locations related to the mine.
Search operation is also going on at many locations in Jamia Nagar area of Delhi. ED has conducted this raid on the basis of the Waqf Board land scam against Amanatullah Khan last year.
Last year, the Anti Corruption Bureau had raided 5 locations linked to Amanatullah in Delhi. During this raid, Rs 12 lakh in cash, 1 unlicensed Beretta pistol and cartridges of 2 different bores were recovered.
According to sources of Central Investigation Agency ED, these raids are being conducted in cases related to scam in Waqf Board. Although this matter is a few years old. The Central Investigation Agency (CBI) has already taken action in the same case.
After that ED took over this case. ED has taken this action by taking cognizance of the cases registered in CBI and ACB of Delhi Government. In September last year, the CBI team had also arrested Amanatullah Khan.
But now a major action by ED has started in the same case under the Money Laundering Act. It has been told that the Central Investigation Agency ED has started the search operation at a total of 13 locations against AAP MLA Amanatullah Khan and some other accused related to the case. Have done.
