New Delhi. Ever since Elon Musk acquired Twitter, his ‘panga’ has been going on with the employees. Musk, who has fired about 75 percent of the employees after taking over the command of Twitter, has also belched the bonus of the employees.
Twitter has a performance bonus plan which is paid annually. But, now the company has refused to pay it. Some employees have reached the court against this promise of the company.
A lawsuit filed in the US Federal Court in San Francisco states that prior to Elon Musk’s takeover of the company in October last year, executives including its former chief financial officer, Ned Segal, had said bonuses would be paid.
Employees say that Twitter has refused to pay last year’s bonus despite promising to pay 50 percent of the target amount in the first quarter of the current year.
