Ayodhya. The government of Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath has come up with a grand plan to build a mega ‘Multimedia Show Fountain’ worth Rs 100 crore near the Shri Ram Temple complex being built in Ayodhya. Approximately 25,000 people will be able to view this mega fountain at a time in amphitheater style seating arrangement.

It has been envisioned to build a lotus shaped fountain in 20 acres from Guptar Ghat to Naya Ghat and it will throw water up to 50 meters. This fountain complex will be built to give a truly divine and spiritual experience, which will further enhance the grandeur of Shri Ram Temple.

This is an attempt to give a new identity to the special importance of water elements in the entire concept of Shri Ram Temple. The purpose of this fountain is to transform this part of the temple from a mere waiting area to a fresh and relaxing place of spiritual inspiration. Which in a way complements the temple.

It will also serve as a fitting place to tell the epic story of Lord Rama. Which will give an unforgettable experience to both pilgrims and tourists. The aim is to create a “magical space” where the water element “will give visitors an opportunity to calm down, pray and come together.”

The documents state that the multimedia show fountain has found its place in the serene confines of Shri Ram Temple, a sanctuary of peace and introspection. The purpose of this fountain is more than just to add beauty to the Ram Temple complex.

In fact it serves as enhancing the ethos of the temple and symbolizes the same peace and tranquility that the temple emanates from. This harmony between the fountain and the temple ambience creates a harmonious synergy, offering a holistic experience to devotees and visitors, touching both the spiritual and sensory dimensions of their existence.
