Mumbai: Fierce fire broke out in Malad slum after 20 cylinders exploded, 1 person killed in the accident

Mumbai. The news of a massive fire has come to the fore from Malad area of Mumbai.
A massive fire broke out in Appa Pada slum of Malad area after 15 to 20 LPG cylinders exploded. One person died in this accident.

Immediately on the information of this incident, the vehicles of the fire brigade got involved in the work of extinguishing the fire. The fire was reported to have spread rapidly over 10,000 square meters, in which 800 to 1000 houses were gutted.

There was a stir in the slum of Appa Pada as soon as the fire broke out in the evening. The fire got huge in no time. As soon as the information about the fire was received, Mumbai Police, BMC and Fire Brigade immediately swung into action. 12 vehicles of the fire brigade got involved in extinguishing the fire.

According to the BMC statement, 15-20 LPG cylinders have exploded and 10 lines of 12 motor pumps have reached the spot to douse the fire. A body has been recovered, which was sent to HBT Trauma Care Hospital. Apart from this, who else is missing or injured is being investigated.

According to the information received from the fire brigade, the fire has been brought under control and currently the process of cooling is going on. In this incident of fire, 800 to 1000 slums caught fire in an area of about 10000 square meters. Due to this, the household items kept in them were burnt to ashes
