New Delhi: Panic ensued at Delhi AIIMS on Thursday morning when a significant fire erupted in the office of the AIIMS Director. The fire department was promptly notified, and seven fire tenders rushed to the scene to contain the blaze.
The fire department reported receiving information about the incident at AIIMS Hospital on Thursday at approximately 5:58 am. Subsequently, seven fire brigade vehicles were dispatched to the location. The fire originated in an office, causing damage to office records, furniture, and a refrigerator situated on the second floor of the Director’s Building.
Efforts are underway to control the fire and prevent further escalation.The fire department further said that there was no casualty of any kind in this fire incident. At present, the fire has been brought under control. It is being told that only some goods have been damaged.
