PM Modi to hold bilateral talks with heads of state of three countries today

New Delhi. PM Modi will hold a total of 15 meetings in the G-20 summit. Today, PM Modi will hold bilateral talks with the heads of countries for a total of three days, which includes the President and Prime Minister of America, Bangladesh and Mauritius.

Apart from the G20 meetings on September 9, the PM will hold bilateral meetings with UK, Japan, Germany and Italy and on September 10, the PM will hold a working lunch meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron.

PM Modi will hold a separate meeting with Canada and bilateral meetings with Comoros, Turkey, UAE, South Korea, EU/EC, Brazil and Nigeria. American NSA Jake Sullivan is also reaching India with President Joe Biden.

He said the G20 summit is an important opportunity to collaborate with global leaders on key economic issues such as climate change, energy security, food security and public goods distribution.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and HD Deve Gowda have been invited for the G20 summit dinner on Saturday.

However, citing health, HD Deve Gowda has refused to attend the dinner. The 18th G20 Leaders’ Summit, to be held at the Bharat Mandapam in Delhi, is one of the most high-profile international summits ever hosted by India.

Delhi is under unprecedented security cover for the G20 summit, for which Joe Biden, Rishi Sunak are coming to the national capital.
