Chandigarh. After the new reward on Canada-based Khalistani terrorist Lakhbir Singh Sandhu alias Landa, the dreaded Goldie Brar, the main accused in the murder of singer Sidhu Moose Wala, is on the radar of security agencies.
Punjab Police conducted raids at several places on Thursday to nab criminals linked to Brar. The special campaign, which started at around 7 in the morning, is being run in all the districts of the state.
Sources said multiple police teams, including senior officers, are part of the operation. Satinderjit Singh alias Goldie Brar, a native of Sri Muktsar Sahib in Punjab, had gone to Canada on a student visa in 2017.
He is an active member of Lawrence Bishnoi gang. Many reports say that Brar is currently in Canada. Earlier in May, Interpol-Ottawa’s Fugitive Apprehension Assistance Team had added the notorious gangster’s name to the list of Canada’s top 25 most wanted fugitives.
According to an earlier notice from Interpol, Brar also faces charges of murder, criminal conspiracy and illegal arms smuggling. Punjab Police on Thursday launched raids at several places to nab criminals linked to notorious gangster Goldie Brar.
