UP News: Yogi government changed the name of Noida’s Amaltash Marg

Noida: The news of renaming of a main road of Noida in Uttar Pradesh has come to the fore. Amaltash road of Noida is now being renamed after Ramnath Goenka. Noida Authority is going to name Amaltash Marg after noted journalist Ramnath Goenka in its board meeting.

It was also recommended by the office of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.Actually, Amaltash Marg from Noida Sector 12/22 Chowk to DND is the most important road of Noida. Lakhs of passengers travel daily between Delhi and Noida from here.

Noida Authority’s OSD Indu Prakash says that the relatives of Ramnath Goenka had demanded both in the Chief Minister’s Office and the Noida Authority that the name of Amaltash Marg be changed to the name of Ramnath Goenka, which was passed in the board meeting held in the last of February. I went.

This has also come into effect from Saturday, from next week all the boards will also be changed. Wherever Amaltash Marg is written, Ramnath Goenka’s name will be written everywhere. Ramnath Goenka was born in 1904 in Darbhanga, Bihar.

He was a journalist and the founder of the Indian Express. In 1975, when the then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi declared Emergency, Ramnath Goenka’s blank page newspaper became an important method of protest. Indian Express office also runs on Amaltash Marg.
