4 people died due to building lift collapse in Greater Noida West, CM Yogi expressed grief

New Delhi. The news of a tragic accident has come to light from Greater Noida. Four people present in the lift of an under-construction building in Greater Noida have died after it collapsed on Thursday morning.

All the people who died in the accident were labourers. Why this accident happened is not yet known. At present DCP is reaching the spot. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has expressed grief over the accident.

According to local people, this accident happened at around 9 am on Thursday morning. This lift was used to send workers to work in the building under construction above.

The building where this accident took place was being built by Amrapali Group under the name of Amrapali Dream Valley Project. This group was completing the construction work under the National Building Construction Corporation (NBCC project).

This building is located near Gaur City in Greater Noida West. This area comes under Bisrakh police station area. According to the police, this is a direct case of negligence.

It is not yet clear what happened at the scene. Was the lift not being maintained properly? What could have been the reason behind the sudden fall of the lift is being investigated. At present, the police have registered a case of negligence in this regard and have started investigating the matter.
