Gujarat: 3 including children killed, 5 injured after 3-storey building collapses in Jamnagar

Jamnagar: A big accident took place in Jamnagar, Gujarat. Three people died due to the sudden collapse of the Housing Board building in Sadhna Colony located here. A pregnant woman and a 5-year-old child are also said to be among the dead. About 8 people were buried in the debris. The injured have been sent to the hospital for treatment, where they are undergoing treatment.

According to the information, about 8 people were buried under the debris of the building. The building is said to be very old. Immediately after the incident, people were rescued and taken out.

Five families lived in this three-storey building. In these, a woman who was pregnant and a 5-year-old child and another died with her. 5 injured were immediately sent to the hospital. Rescue operation is still going on.

Superintendent of GG Hospital Jamnagar Deepak Tiwari and Municipal Commissioner DN Modi told that this building has collapsed in Sadhna Colony. The incident is of 6 o’clock. There were 6 flats in it, in which there were 2 families. 3 people have died. 5 people have got injuries. I have spoken to the chairman of the Housing Board, he says that he gives notice every year. The building was dilapidated.
