HM Amit Shah reached Jammu for a 3 day visit, welcomed at the airport

New Delhi: Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah has come on a two-day tour of Jammu and Kashmir on Friday. He was received at the Jammu airport by Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh.

After this, reached the state headquarters of BJP located in Trikuta Nagar, Jammu. Here he garlanded the statue of Dr. Syama Prasad Mukherjee. After this, reached at around 11.15 am to attend the rally at JDA ground in Bhagwati Nagar of the city. During this, Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir Manoj Sinha, Union Minister Jitendra Singh, MP Jugal Kishore are present with him.

After the rally is over, he will lay the foundation stone of the Central Forensic Science Laboratory (CFSL) at Samba and inaugurate various development schemes. Shah also has a program to pay obeisance at the temple of Tirupati Balaji at Majin. Apart from reviewing the security arrangements for the annual Amarnath Yatra starting from July 1, he is also scheduled to visit the holy cave of Baba Barfani.

The Home Minister will also inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of various development projects at 4.30 pm at the Raj Bhavan Auditorium in Srinagar. At 5.30 pm SKICC will attend the Vitasta Festival organized by the Ministry of Culture in Srinagar, while on June 24 at 10.30 am he will lay the foundation stone of the Sacrifice Pillar at Pratap Park Srinagar.

High alert has been sounded in the entire city regarding the upcoming rally of Home Minister Amit Shah. The rally site at Bhagwati Nagar has been taken under tight security cover. About 3,000 security forces have been deployed to maintain law and order at the rally site and in the entire city. These include police, CRPF and other security agencies including CISF.
